Studio work remains my first love. There is nothing more exciting than helping musicians to make the best recording they can, whatever their musical genre. I’m familiar with a wide range of desks including Neve Capricorn, Neve VR and 88R, SSL, API, EMI, Sony OXF-R3, Focusrite/Digidesign Procontrol, Euphonix CS2000/3000, Yamaha DM series, Soundtracks, Allen & Heath, DDA, Soundcraft, AMEK and Studer.

I’m well versed in ProTools, Logic, Cubase, Tascam MX-2424 HD System and all available outboard equipment. I have good relationships with studios of different sizes and prices, both in the UK and Europe, so it’s always worth asking what sort of deal I could get for you. My studio rates are generally £250.00 per day for recording or mixing, but when I get all excited about something I can be persuaded to do a deal! I’ve also done plenty of live location recordings, everywhere from the Wigmore Hall to the Old Vic, The Astoria and Ely Cathedral – and I can get a terrific sound out of all of them. Have a look at my recent client list to see who I’ve been working with. Remember that I speak (and swear in) four languages fluently, which can sometimes be a distinct advantage.
